Our farm has been in the family since it
was purchased in 1949. My parents had cattle for awhile and grew corn and hay.
In 1970 the old dairy barn was converted
into a horse stable and has housed horses ever since then. We built a brand new barn in 2005 which is being meticulously completed
by my husband and should be opened for boarders in 2010.
The new barn is designed with both
horse and owner's comfort in mind. This 16 stall barn is well ventilated and insulated to be comfortable in the
winter and cool in the summer. For the horses there are 10 X 12 matted stalls have sliding windows with screens
with Nelson feeders and for the boarders there will be a tack room with lockers, two get-ready stalls and two handicapped
accessible bathrooms with showers. We hope that our customers will be as happy with these facilities.
Our goals are to establish an environment that is very appealing
to everyone that enters it. Horses, owners and friends should feel comfortable and relaxed on our farm.
